Now in its 136th year, the 2026 OC Fair runs Friday, July 17 through Sunday, August 16 at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa. The OC Fair & Event Center is located at 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626, right off the 405 Freeway at the Fairview Road exit. Parking is $15 per car, but fair-day traffic in the surrounding neighborhoods is real — if you live nearby, you've seen it.

- Rideshare is underrated: Uber and Lyft drop-off and pick-up zones are clearly marked at the main entrance. You skip the parking lot crush and the exit crawl entirely. On a Friday evening, this alone is worth it.
- Go midweek: Wednesday and Thursday crowds are noticeably lighter, admission is $5 cheaper, and parking is a breeze. You get the same full experience — every ride, every vendor — without the weekend chaos.
- Biking is actually viable: Bike racks are available near each entrance, and the surrounding Costa Mesa neighborhoods make cycling a realistic option if you live close enough.
Entertainment and Concerts
The Pacific Amphitheatre is one of the best outdoor concert venues in Southern California, and the OC Fair puts it to full use. This year features 20+ shows spanning rock, country, R&B, Latin, hip-hop, comedy, and tribute acts — and all concert and reserved seats include free same-day OC Fair admission.
